Employee Benefits Overview
Toyota South Atlanta offers a flexible and comprehensive package of benefits, along with valuable work and family programs. We are committed to making Toyota South Atlanta a great place to work and encourage our employees to closely review the benefits being offered. These programs can help employees attain financial security as well as help to meet the everyday health needs. Our programs are designed to allow you to tailor a benefits package that best meets the unique needs of you and your family.
Our current health plan year runs from October 1, 2017 through September 31, 2018. This year we are offering the same Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plans as last year. Our Dental and Vision coverage is administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield. We are also offering a suite of Income Protection Programs through Washington National Life Insurance Company.
Our Health coverage plans are ACA compliant and meet or exceed all of the ACA standards for essential benefits and affordability. If you don’t have ACA compliant health coverage, you may have to pay a federal tax penalty when you file your personal income taxes. We have provided the penalty estimator for your reference.
The Dental Plan is a PPO plan administered by Humana. Enrollment is automatic for employees who have elected dental coverage for themselves and their covered dependents. Utilizing a dentist in the Humana PPO network may provide a cost savings for you, as well as ease of claims filing. However, the plan allows you the freedom and flexibility to visit any dentist with the same benefit coverage.
Our Vision Plan is administered by Superior Vision. Enrollment is automatic for employees who have elected vision coverage for themselves and their covered dependents. Utilizing a provider in the vision network may provide a cost savings for you, as well as ease of claims filing.
Nobody thinks it will happen to them, but one in eight workers will be unable to work due to an injury or sickness. There are a few ways to protect yourself against the financial implications of becoming too sick or injured to work and earn an income.
A good start to protecting your income is through an Accident/Disability income insurance policy. Such a policy typically covers up to 60% of pre-disability salary. Life Insurance and Critical Illness insurance plans can provide your family with financial security in the absence of your income.
